Class offerings

Pre-Ballet I & II

Dancers learn to move to music, increasing their listening skills, and I.Q. Dancers learn self-discipline, co-operation through partner and group dances as well as body awareness, poise, and a passion for dance.

Typically ages 3-6

Ballet I

Students grow their technical knowledge and skills to increase their level of creativity. Teaching in a way that allows the student to discover the how and why of a movement.

Typically ages 7-8

Ballet II

Movement combinations are added to this level increasing memory, order and sequencing skills. One of the essential ways we learn is through the body (kinesthetic) intelligence.

Typically ages 9-10

Ballet III

Dancers have now mastered the basics and begin to learn more advanced steps and extended choreography. An essential part of this level is preparing for pointe shoes through strengthening.

Typically ages 11-12

Ballet IV

At this level dancers will continue to focus on technique and artistry. With the addition of of pointe and partnering work. Dancers will expand their ballet repertoire. At this level they are also required to take modern or contemporary.

Typically ages 13 and up

Pointe

Pointe classes are specialized to strengthen dancers’ abilities and confidence en pointe so that they can perform en pointe.

Jazz Musical Theater

Students will learn the fundamentals of jazz technique with a focus on building strength, flexibility, and performance skills. Learning combinations from the Musical Theatre repertoire and work on implementing technique and storytelling into each new combination.

Open Level & Adult Ballet

Have you ever wanted to try your hand as a ballerina? Dancers of any and all ages are welcome to join in at any level of experience.

Contemporary

Students will learn the fundamentals of contemporary dance techniques. Dancers will explore new ways of moving in combinations and floor work.

Modern or contemporary is required of our level four dancers.
