Starship Dance Theater is happy to announce more than thirty years of producing The Magic Toyshop! Since 1991 Joyce DiLauro has brought life to the stage through the story of a toyshop in the Italian Alps whose dancing dolls come to life at night. Over the three months of rehearsals our cast and crew become a family and create a well-loved community production.

     We are excited to announce that The Magic Toyshop 2023 will once again be a community production! Auditions will be held at the Guilford Community Center on September 10th. Please arrive at 1:00PM to register, auditions may run until 2:30PM depending on age. Auditions are open to everyone of all backgrounds. We love to see people who have danced all their lives and people who have never danced before! Minimum age requirement is 6 years old. There will be a $5 audition fee and the performance fee is $375. As a non-profit these fees go directly back into performance costs like costumes and rehearsal spaces.
